Welcome to the Southern California Conference on Undergraduate
Research (SCCUR), hosted in 2005 by the University
of California, Riverside, on Saturday, November 19, 2005.
SCCUR spotlights multidisciplinary faculty-mentored undergraduate
research or creative achievement from many types of institutions
in the Southern California region and fosters appreciation
and the important role these activities play as an integral
component of undergraduate education.
Through
its annual conference, SCCUR celebrates the research, scholarship,
and creative activities carried out by undergraduate
students. Students in all disciplines—the arts, humanities,
sciences, and engineering—present their faculty-mentored
projects to audiences of peers, faculty and administrators
through performance, oral and poster presentations, or displays.

Undergraduate students who wish to present
their faculty-mentored research or scholarly/creative activity
at SCCUR must complete the Presentation & Abstract
Submission Form. Completion of this form is due no later
than Monday, October 17, 2005.
